Jacqueline Calladine is an English-born artist, living and working between London and Seattle. Originally a textile maker, in 2021 Jacqueline merged her love of line, colour, and shape with paint to create bold mixed-media works that depict daily life in an illustrative, whimsical style.
Jacqueline often positions herself in her artwork as a way of exploring the role of the woman artist in society. She is interested in the daily stories of women, domestic life, and the value of women’s craftwork.
